Anybody got a line on somethin' along these lines?
"Dear Friends,I am writing to just about anyone I know for any tips you may have about a possible apartment in Buenos Aires: monoambiente o 2 ambientes, flexible about neighborhoods (Recoleta, the Palermos, Belgrano, Almagro, Caballito, Congreso, Villa Crespo,....), anywhere accessible by bus or subte, not too far from my work at Leloir in Parque Centenario (estación de subte Angel Gallardo). Not too pricey (about 1000 a 1500). I´d prefer to not go through an immobiliaria since they will probably charge 2 months´ rent in commission, which is a good deal of money, best to deal directly with owner. I have salary receipts and a garantor (a relative). Ideally I´d like to move in Oct 1st but I can coast by until latest Nov 1st.

...just an experiment as to what can happen when a whole lotta brains and eyeballs concentrate on just one guy's problem. Come on, folks! Let's amaze ourselves at how quick we can help someone's private situation.
Maybe we'll learn to help everybody!

Hi there!
I can definitely make a recommendation because I spent a great time last month in Buenos Aires. I rented a furnished apartment in Recoleta, Buenos Aires, very near the downtown. I suggest that service called ForRent Argentina: Buenos Aires apartments For Rent
Cheers,
Fred
