Yer dear, dirt farming, cow pampering Yanq has LONG had a hankerin' for good work clothes.  Could you bring me something on your next visit to Buenos Aires?

I'd be happy to reimburse you beyond your wildest dreams.

Your wildest dreams, I am sure, do not reach the level of UPS / USPS / etc. rates for shipment to Argentina.  Frinstince, a pair of bib overalls, a good sweatshirt, and A UNION SUIT would set me back $200USD ...for freight alone.

Here, on what may turn out to be the coldest night of the year, the thought of the above pair of long johns ...is driving me crazy.

Don´t get me wrong.  Wonderfully fine clothing abounds in Buenos Aires ...as good as NYC, London, or Paris.  Work clothing abounds, too.  Wonderfully fine work clothes, however, are non-existent.  If I could describe them ...or had a good example!.. I´d have them made for me by a tailor or seamstress!

Seriously, I´d love to ship the items to your home for you to inspect and bring down in your empty luggage ...which you'll, of course, fill with lovely items from Argentina for the trip back!

If you are so inclined, write me at yanquimike@gmail.com or call me on my "Chicago phone" at 312-235-2241.

I´d love to meet you, PAY YOU handsomely, and show you around this lovely place.

For work clothes have you thought about bombacha de campo or marmeluco? The first is traditional gaucho workwear, the second is what a plumber would wear on a job,for example. If you google the terms you will find pics and companies providing them.Hope it helps.Sorry not coming over in a while, otherwise I would have had a look here what is offered

  5. You still meed these, Mike? I should be down in April or May.
