Lemme tell ya, there are some world-class expat foods produced here in Argentina ...some of them are as good or BETTER than in the Old Country.
These tortillas are one excellent example.
The art of making real corn tortillas is disappearing even in Mexico. The brand-name dried tortilla powders now account for more than half of all tortillas produced there.

You don´t want to even think about making them yourself! Raw whole grains are steeped in the old Aztec method, wet-ground, shaped and formed, then cooked on cast iron.
There is no Mexican food without corn tortillas, punto, period, full stop.
Go get yourself some! Cook-up a pot of great beans. Slowly stew some pork or beef or chicken with cumin, garlic, and hot pepper. Grab some cheese and slices onions and tomatoes ...maybe some avocado!
Don´t forget fish tacos.
Your toppings and fillings might not be all that authentic ...but on a Pancho Villa Tortilla, they will be head and shoulders above the lame imitators.

Did this close down? He came to our neighborhood weekly and now doesn't return any of mine or my neighbor's request. Previously, we often received Bacon run emails on a monthly basis. We really miss this bacon. It was great!
