Don't Mess Around ...Get Your Ballot Today

(UPDATE: go to https://www.facebook.com/VoteFromArgentina)

If there is one thing we learned in 2000 ...is that it's not just "Coke or Pepsi." Another thing that became obvious is that "the close ones are easy to steal."

Don´t make it a close election. Get your vote back to your local precinct back in the Ol' Country! Request your ballot today!

"Isn´t is a little early?", you ask ...No, brothas 'n' sistas, it is NOT.

We yanquis are allowed to vote from outside the United States ...but we have to jump through a couple two three hoops to do so. It´s not difficult ...but they are betting that you will not make the effort to cast your ballot ...or that you will procrastinate until it is TOO LATE.

When do YOU need to request your ballot? The hell if I know!

Every State's requirements are different. Some are easy peasy ...some seem to be designed to make sure that you just plain give up trying.

Question: What to do? Answer: DO IT NOW.

Get thee to www.fvap.gov and follow thru the easiest process on the internet for voting from outside the good ol' USA.

Short and sweet, here´s the basic process:
1. register or verify your voter registration
2. request your ballot
3. recieve your ballot
4. send your ballot back to yer ol' neighborhood

Too tough for you? Freaked out about exactly how to do it? Confused about anything at all?

NO EXCUSE.

Yanqui Mike is here to field your questions and offer PERSONAL assistance. Call me, write me, accost me at any of the lovely sidewalk cafés where I am wont to linger ...I´m here to help.

(Full disclosure) If you don't know by now, I am best described as a New Deal Liberal and founding chairman of Democrats Abroad Argentina. However, I have never failed to assist a fellow US citizen of whatever stripe in their effort to exercise their right to vote.

As Voltaire said to Helvetius, "I may disagree with what you say but I will fight to the death to defend your right to say it."

Go to www.fvap.gov and see how easy it is. If you have any trouble, get in touch with me personally.

If you´d like to volunteer to help others register to vote in November, you can tell me that too.

Don´t be a dope. Vote and help get out the vote.
