You are Missing a Hot Sauce

From the mind of El Tejano ...to your taste buds.  The Texas wildman, BBQ king, and Chili Commissioner has added a new sauce to his line-up ...and MAN, your collection just plain ain´t complete without it.

El Tejano's Locoto Ahumado makes life in picante-poor Buenos Aires a thing of the past.  Tex has been talking about adding a green sauce to his roster of reds for a long time.  Now with the crops of mighty locoto peppers running strong in their green and gold livery ...he´s concocted a seasonal entry that really satisfies!

It´s definitely El Tejano from the first taste: strong, complex, full of secrets and unidentifiable touches of spice.  This time out, tho, it´s a varietal, only one pepper serves as the base: the locoto (aka rocoto, or chili peron.)

This meaty pepper is as smokin' hot as Adriana Lima with a big ol´ 10¢ cigar ...but the Texan blends away the excruciating leaving you with a sauce that deelights rather than deestroys.  Although he´d never admit it, there´s a little New Mexico in this ...over a taco, it brought back memories of an Albuquerque Adovada I deevoured on Route 66 long ago.

Stock up today while the season lasts ...and why not make it complete with REAL CORN TORTILLAS de Pancho Villa?

Tonight, Tex told me that there is a bottle with your name on it ...coming your way today or tomorrow, Maria!

You really have to taste this ...I recommend that you pair it with your favorite pork dish ...and a bunch of Tortillas de Pancho Villa.

You´re a tough sell, baby ...but I have no doubts that you will groove to it.

besos!
