Las Tortilla Chips of the Gods

Argentina has a long and wonderful history of brave / crazy immigrants who came here to start businesses.
Larry Rogers should certainly be entered into that list.

Larry, aka El Tejano, is the man who introduced Tex-Mex Salsa to a country with no tortilla chips
...and made a success of it!

Of course, for several years there have been corn chip attempts ranging from lame to good and, of course several nasty flavors of the supermarket regulars...

But now there is a world-class tortilla chip...
better than anything you've ever eaten before... right here in Buenos Aires, Argentina...
from Las Tortillas de Pancho Villa.

By now, you all know their great real-corn, hand-made, tortillas.  If you haven´t yet, you are denying yourself one of life´s great culinary pleasures.  Get some today.

But these Tortilla Chips!   Incredible.  They are everything you want in a chip and none of what you don´t want (just read a bag of Doritos sometime.)

They are delicate and crispy and, at the same time tough enough to stand up to the chunkiest guacamole and total perfection for any of El Tejano's Salsas.

Salty little wonders of that great Aztec contribution to world cuisine, nixtamalized corn, hecho totalmente a mano and screaming with all-natural flavor.  Wow.

It really shouldn´t surprise anyone.  Las Tortillas de Pancho Villa do things like nobody else ...even in Mexico it´s rare nowadays to find anyone who doesn´t resort to cheap pre-packaged mixes ...even rarer to find people that do it totally by hand.

...and, as usual, their prices are obscenely low.

If you were wondering, both El Tejano and Las Tortillas de Pancho Villa are offering a combo of each other´s products for pickup or delivery.  One call does it all!

This is what we´ve been waiting for.  Dig in!
