Wow! Drinking Liberally Buenos Aires is ALWAYS a Great Time!

If you don´t mind me saying so... Drinking Liberally is ALWAYS a splendid evening.

For example, tonight, we said our goodbyes to Amos who is on-track to land a great job in DC ...and will be struggling with leaving his dear love for the time being.

We raised funds for The Buenos Aires Shankees Baseball Team.  Special thanks to Fred of SilverStarCar for being more than generous to the cause!  ...but if you know Fred and his lovely wife, Karina, you know the definition of generosity!.

We said our farewells to Dave and Jamye Smith who are leaving on their Round-the-World trip ...but they´ll be back when it´s done.

We also met with Lemmie (above) who, just by accident, was enjoying a cool drink at an adjoining table.  Lemmie is a rancher of grass-fed cattle from South Georgia (US) ...so you KNOW my missus and I were fascinated with his conversation!

Drinking Liberally Buenos Aires is like that.  We are not a mono-culture ...we don´t generally come for anything other than good fellowship ...we don´t generally exchange business cards ...we are not a singles-hookup-club ...you can find that everywhere.

We are a bit of a salon ...in the Gertrude Stein sense of the word.  Art and Labor.  I really love that about our transient group ...and Drinking Liberally never fails to disappoint.

Please consider joining us ...every Monday ...same time, same place ...whenever you are of a mind to meet with an extraordinary group of expats and argentinos.

You are always welcome ...and you´ll be back for more.

G´night ...and thanks to everyone, once again, for making tonight another splendid evening.

Yeah, it was cool hanging out on the 9 de Julio, drinking beer with a bunch of zany expats and worldly travelers...That's what BA is all about...that and Shankees Baseball!
