Bravo, mineros chilenos

"Come and listen you fellers, so young and so fine,
and seek no great fortune in the dark dreary mine.
It´ll form as a habit then seep into your soul,
'till the blood of your veins runs as black as the coal.

It´s dark as a dungeon, damp as the dew,
where the dangers are doubled,
and the pleasures are few.
Where the rain never falls,
and the sun never shines.
It´s dark as a dungeon, way down in the mines."
                                        An old coal miner song

This reminds me of a song from the documentary 'Harlan Co. USA.'

Bravo mineros chilenos indeed. I hope that this saga will help to change the regulations regarding mining in Chile, but it never seems to happen that way in the states.
