"Of course, I'm in BA. I'm on Beruti, just up the block from the Cinemark and the Alto Palermo.
Mike, your nervous wolfing about "how easy it is" does nothing to enhance your credibility.
And now, please name for me one single qualification that Obama has for office (other than the bare minimum required by the constitution)? Like most Obama supporters, you're unable to come up with a solitary Obama accomplishment that merits the job he's seeking.
He was head of the Harvard Law Review? A college popularity contest.
Community organizer? He wasted $100 million in record time.
Illinois State Senator? Present!
Associate of thugs, terrorists, crooks, and a dirty cog in Chicago Democratic party machine? Too right!
As for being a senator, he got elected by defeating Alan Keyes (!!!!!) in an overwhelmingly Democratic state. Big deal. The Democrats could have run Obama's crooked mentor Emil Jones and won that race. Let's not forget that the famously corrupt Carole Mosely Braun previously held the seat.
Again, aside from blind party loyalty, there is no logical reason anyone could possibly support Obama.
It's all squishy emotional response, something unreasoning and limbic. Irrational exuberance and emotion over reason.
As I said, he makes you feel warm and gooey inside. There's nothing you can point to by way of qualification that isn't laughable.
Mike, if you'd just come out and say that you're supporting Obama because he's a Democrat, and you always support the Democrat, I'd respect that more. It wouldn't be as sad."

GOPer is an entertaining fellow!
As I've always said here and to the press, "If Democrats Abroad actually had money for offices, I would hang the BIGGEST portrait of Geo. W. Bush behind my desk ...and screw me ...I'd put the nameplate "Our Founder" on the gigantic frame."

Yeah me!!!! I'm anonymously famous!!
Lordy. Gimme yer PayPal account ...I gotta PAY you for this out of my own personal funds.
...even tho I insist that people don't feed trolls! Truth be told, I don't consider you a troll after your very BsAs description of your crib. But I have the feeling that you ARE being fed. I hope it helps our turnout for Thursday where we get the FIRST good look at the OTHER Republican on the ticket (we knew she'd be the new Cheney ...we just dint know she'd be in the undisclosed bunker already!)
As readers probably know, I'm from the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party ...and a John Edwards supporter because I didn't have the balls to support Dennis Kucinich with my vote.
Some may remember my support of Bill Clinton as "the best Republican President this country ever had."
So much for blind party loyalty ...other than I loved the way Willie could hand the neo-cons their ass to them over and over again with them ALWAYS coming back for more.
Now, should I "just come out and say that you're supporting Obama because he's a Democrat, and (I) always support the Democrat"?
I don't think so.
Tell me why you still support Bush enough to vote for 4, possibly 8, more years of the same.
Sheesh, Anon, ain't even YOU had enough yet?
Had enough?
I'm just starting to really enjoy myself. And besides, I'm not easily riled by political debate, especially when I'm winning.
Support another Bush term?
Please, that canard hasn't been flying since McCain accepted the nomination.
McCain's is his own man, something that everyone in the press (and the honest folks in the Democratic party) seem to be finally acknowledging. (I gotta say that that "McSame" crap is weak, even by Donk standards.)
You were an Edwards supporter?
Man, that's gotta hurt. My condolences.
I'm happy to say that I saw through that charlatan very early on, more than four years ago. Too bad you've been equally bamboozled by Obama.
("Bamboozled by Obama" Hey, that's catchy. I should put that on a button and send it to you.)
And, oddly, I find myself sort of in agreement with you about Clinton. In fact, I've been warming to him, what with all of the very nice things he's been saying about John McCain in the past couple of weeks.
By the way, I don't usually troll Dem groups, but you did sort of invite me in by calling for Republicans in BA. (Think of me as your very own Beetlejuice.)
P.S. Thank you for keeping this discussion mostly civil thus far. A few sharp elbows, but no name calling as yet. Much appreciated,
"Support another Bush term? Please, that canard hasn't been flying since McCain accepted the nomination."
Thanks for stoppin' by, Anon.
Keep writin'. Don't get offended if I go to bed now.
