Judge Mini-Bios: Cherie Magnus, 1st Annual Buenos Aires Chili Cookoff

Born and raised in California, the spin-off locale for chili cook-offs in the 80s, Cherie participated in many contests on Santa Catalina Island and around Southern California while improving her prize-winning recipe over the years, even hosting a Chili Championship in her Hollywood neighborhood of Los Feliz.

Now a highly-rated tango teacher since 2003 in Buenos Aires with her porteño milonguero partner, she was a finalist in another kind of championship in 2006--Campeonato del Tango Buenos Aires.
