Now... let´s talk about the census. Expats and tourists will be required to participate ...I have no idea if there is penalty for not doing so.
Here a facsimile form that the enumerators will be bringing to your house. Contrary to popular belief, you cannot complete the form in advance and hand it to the census taker.
According to INDEC, here´s what you need to know:
●Wednesday October 27th has been declared a national holiday to allow persons to wait for census takers at home between 8:00 and 20:00.
●It will be similar to election day in that shops will remain closed until 8 pm. There will also be a massive presence of security forces in the streets and in schools.
●You can recognize the census taker by their identification card and work materials.
●The census takers' idenitication card contains security features in addition to the personal data and the ID of the census taker. (A facsimile of the credential can be found here.)
●It is not necessary that the census taker enter your home.
●The answers are confidential and anonymous. You do not have to submit any documentation regarding your person nor your housing.
●The census taker will ask about the people who spent the night of 26 to 27 October in your home.
●The questions are simple and only take a few minutes to answer.
●If necessary, a family member can answer for you.
●The questionnaire can be filled only by the census taker. Forms completed before the interview will not be accepted.
Please do your best to answer the buzzer and answer the questions. You´ll be glad you did.

Hey Mike, I take it the form you posted is the long form. Do you also have a copy of the short form? Or maybe I'll just google it to see if I can find it...
Our census taker was great ! Fast, understood me lol and was gone quickly...
Before noon, we were out in the park ... to an empty town with barely a car on the street and nothing open, nothing, nada. .
