Mad Men Mania

I´m hooked on Mad Men.  I can´t wait for late Sunday nights when it can magically appear in my harddrive.

Having sworn-off any cops, doctors, or lawyer dramas... I don´t have much to choose from from when it comes to great hour-long TV drama.  Mad Men is a godsend for me.

Like most people, the "period piece" aspect is a big draw for me but the drama and characters can´t be beat.

I was too young to have ever worked in an office like that ...but I always figured that I would!  In the meantime, the world invented cube farms.  The sound of a room full of typewriters (or just one, for that matter!) can put me in the wayback machine pretty quick.

One aspect that DID survive long enough for me personally to experience is a lot of the management style.  The words from the above clip had me suddenly sitting up straight in my chair!  Flash back time.

I´ve heard that young workers aren´t motivated by that anymore.
