DON'T DELAY! US Citizens should make sure to REGISTER TO VOTE and REQUEST THEIR ABSENTEE BALLOT!

Faithful readers know a LOT about me... more than I would actually like!

But one of the the things that you know about "The Yanq" is that I am the Chairman of Democrats Abroad Argentina.

AS SUCH... it's my duty and the duty of all the good officers that were elected and re-elected more than a year ago ...to LET YOU U.S. CITIZENS KNOW that it is time again for you to register to vote and/or request your ballot from "the old country" so that YOU can vote in November if not before in your state primaries.

BE IT RESOLVED... that you should come to Drinking Liberally Buenos Aires this Thursday and register to vote ...and/or request your absentee ballot

Not a Democrat?  We don't care.

We'll help to register you and make sure that, come Election Day, you will have "exercised your franchise" for whatever party you like ...and that you won't regret that you waited too long to make your vote count!

ISN'T IT TOO EARLY TO WORRY ABOUT THAT?  Nope.  It is not too early, by any stretch of the imagination.

Unlike civilized countries (like Argentina, France, Germany, Spain, etc,) we yanquis can't simply go down to our respective embassies and cast our vote.

WE norteamericanos, estadounidienses, yanquis, whatevah..., MUST vote by mail.  Yep.  By Post, via correos, ...SNAIL MAIL.

Entonces ...please do not delay.

Come to Drinking Liberally Buenos Aires this Thursday and register to vote ...and/or request your absentee ballot!

The good folks at that famous international drinking society, Drinking Liberally, have thrown open their doors to Democrats Abroad Argentina for this effort to make sure that NO voter from the USA gets left behind come Election Day.


Be you Dem, GOP, Green, Libertarian, Anarchist, o lo que sea... you can come to Drinking Liberally Buenos Aires and do your best to register and get your ballot to Argentina.  And you'll get help from experienced people.

If... maybe you like our message, you might like to make a donation to the International Democrats Abroad (the local here in Argentina is fine ...but the intl could really use the money and I hope that you'll consider becoming a sustaining member.  Drinking Liberally Internationally ALSO needs help doing their good deeds!)
