An Afternoon in the Park ...with our New President

I'm surprised at the response I've received already from the little tagline at the bottom of today's "Sunday Email from Democrats Abroad Argentina"!

...but I shouldn't have been.

Not ever having been blessed ...I don't automatically consider the families with children that really can't make a go of rubbing shoulders with their fellow Dems during all the "night-clubby" events we've had this year.

...that ain't exactly fair.

So, lemme hear ya! The ceremony, as per our Constitution, will take place at noon on Tuesday, January 20. I'll bet that we could blare a radio about 3pm Buenos Aires time and hear That One make his historic address.

All the while, we can throw the fris around, eat some hotdogs and choripanes, and get to know each other in broad daylight and fresh air!

Any preferences as to what park in what part of town?

I suggest someplace that already has a choripanero or two ...so that we don't have to do our own cookin'. But who knows ...maybe you guys have a bunch of Weber Kettles just gathering dust in your bauleras and are dying to do the grill thing for the first time in a long time?

Lemme know your suggestions! Let's celebrate!
