Tough day to celebrate the national day of motor transport.
You might want to check out the city's various webcams before you go out.

I love all the different "dias" in Buenos Aires. Sometimes I know about them through students and others that are larger are advertized...especially if there is an event that surrounds them...but there are more! Do you know how I can find out about more of them?
Me, too! I love all the "días" and you're right...the kids know more of them, I think, because many of them are "free" days from school AND they teach them.
And there are certainly a lot more! You can find more of them RIGHT HERE ON THE YANQUI MIKE SHOW!
Today, por ejemplo, is the day of the sculptor! And Thursday is, of course, the International Day of the Woman. That makes today a perfect occasion for a post about Lola Mora and her Fuente de las Nereidas en Costanera Sur...if only I could/can find the time.
And el martes 13 (a day that deserves a post all by itself) is the day of the National Seal...something that I find fascinating, heraldically speaking.
Hang wit' me, Lizzz. We'll try to get to them all.
un beso,
Mike
Siempre es bueno enterarse de "los días", aunque algunos quizás deberían tener más difusión.
