"Another example of this “Dark comedy” occurred on a Continental Airlines flight from Argentina to the United States. A 21-year-old university student was arrested when sniffer dogs discovered dynamite in the student’s baggage."
I have to admit to being pretty conflicted by this story. In light of revelations as to the US involvement in the Heathrow clusterfark with possible intent to coverup bad news coverage as just the latest in a long line of making politics and the TSA emptying all of the bottles of potentially explosive liquid ingredients into 50 gallon cocktails, I've got to go along with the circus description.

I'm ashamed and really concerned tho about Argentina's failure to sniff-out some dumbass' souvenir dynamite.

Last week marked my 1 year anniversary of flying (not flying?) back to the states. What have been your sensations on air travel recently?

Lot's of fun things happen at the airport, like apparently there was a big kung fu fight between the local chinese and mafia, not too long ago, and they have caught a lot of false passports that have slipped by US customs. (b.f. works in migraciones). The dynamite thing though, I thought it was stopped on this side, now I have to get the full story on this one!
